Description

During the recent clear spell I managed to image M106. I was going to go for another object but the sky in the lower region was not good, so I swung it round and I was pleased that I did - to be honest. Naturally the imaging time makes certain features impossible to process out, and as I never took any Ha then those wonderful red 'jets' are not visible, although close up it does look at though some faint, faint red projections might be coming through. Or is that wishful thinking!? I took 80 luminances and 50 RGBs each at 2 minutes in exposure time. This equals 4 hours and 20 minutes imaging time... Have a good day and thanks!
